Lighting a property is a design job before it is an electrical one
The failure mode of outdoor lighting is not darkness. It is evenness: fixtures spaced at regular intervals along a facade, all at the same brightness, which flattens a house into a lit wall and reads as a car park.
What makes a property look good after dark is contrast. Some surfaces are lit, others are deliberately left alone, and the eye fills in the rest. That is a decision about which features are worth the light, made standing in the yard at dusk rather than on a plan.
Which is why the first visit happens in the evening where we can manage it. It is obvious at dusk which gable, tree or stone face is worth picking out, and equally obvious which ones disappear no matter what you point at them.

We recommend LED for efficiency and long life, and it is what we install. The running cost difference over a season is significant on a system that is on every night.

Can I add more lights later?
Yes. Systems are designed to expand, so adding fixtures as the landscaping matures or plans change is a visit rather than a rebuild.

What does outdoor lighting cost?
It depends on the size of the property and the number of fixtures. We provide free, detailed estimates after walking the property with you.

Will it damage my landscaping?
Most projects leave little to no visible disruption. Wiring follows beds and edges, and fixtures sit in the ground rather than being fixed to the building.
